Role Summary
The Inventory Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records for all consumable materials used throughout the organization. This role supports procurement, fulfillment, logistics, and vault operations by conducting routine cycle counts, managing inventory transactions, receiving and distributing consumables, and ensuring inventory accuracy across all departments. The Inventory Technician works closely with the Procurement Coordinator and Operations team to ensure materials are available to support daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of all consumable inventory, including but not limited to packaging, vape hardware, labels, tubes, boxes, ingredients, and other operational supplies.
- Conduct weekly vault cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy within the vault.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and inventory transactions within company systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages to the Procurement Coordinator.
Receiving & Procurement Support
- Assist the Procurement Coordinator with receiving deliveries of consumable materials.
- Verify received quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
- Organize and maintain consumable inventory storage areas.
Inventory Distribution
- Deliver consumables and operational supplies to departments as needed.
- Maintain inventory check-in and check-out logs to ensure accountability of issued materials.
- Coordinate material requests from departments and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Monitor department inventory usage and communicate trends or concerns.
Operational Support
- Assist Fulfillment and Logistics teams as needed to support operational demands.
- Assist with vault organization and inventory audits.
- Support inventory-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with scheduling routine maintenance for inventory-related equipment and storage areas as assigned.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Provide regular inventory reports and cycle count results to management.
- Follow all company SOPs, security requirements, and compliance standards.
- Ensure inventory processes are performed accurately and consistently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, or related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
- Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required.

- Understanding of workplace safety and hazard prevention practices.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state regulations.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, fingerprinting and state ID badging.
